Can the pottery be put in the dishwasher or microwave?
Yes to both of these. Although ideally handmade pottery needs a little extra care and we would suggest hand washing if you’re unsure, it can go in the dishwasher and microwave. We just suggest that you avoid shock change in temperature (i.e. if it had been hot from a microwave don’t put it in a cold sink of water)
Lessons in 2019
Can I still use my gift voucher?
Yes. If you have a 2 or more person lesson we will invite you to book onto one of our group sessions. Those with 1 person lesson vouchers are welcome to join the group session however we will still honour 1-1 lessons for those that have already purchased if preferred.
(If you have booked for 4 or more we will teach this as a separate booking for just yourselves)
When are the sessions going to be?
These will likely be in the evenings and a selection of Saturdays throughout the year. (specific evenings to be confirmed in the new year)
How long are the group sessions going to be?
Group lessons will be 2 hours and include making on the wheel and handbuilding.
Where are the lessons taught?
From 2019 all of our lessons will be held at our Markham Farm studio towards Easton-in-Gordano.
How long is the voucher valid for?
A year from date of purchase.
How long does it take for an order to be ready?
We aim to have stock pieces ready to go but sometimes we need to glaze them so these should be ready in 1-2weeks. If you have ordered a personalised or commissioned piece these usually take 3-4 weeks to be ready for collection (5 weeks for posting).
Where & when can I collect my pottery?
Monday - Friday between 11am - 4pm at our Markham Farm studio, BS20 0QQ. Please let us know if and when you intend to collect your pottery so we can ensure it is ready.
Can you post outside of the UK?
Yes, please contact us to get a quote.
